How Do You Earn XP in 2048.now?

XP (experience points) is earned from every ranked game you complete. The base XP amount scales with your score, so higher-scoring games yield proportionally more XP. Quests, multiplayer wins, Arena play and your first sign-in each day all add to it on top.

XP sources

• Ranked games (4×4, 5×5, 6×6) — base XP, scaled to your score
• Daily quests — a fixed XP payout per quest claimed, rising with the quest's level
• Multiplayer wins — boosted XP for winning head-to-head matches
• Arena performance — a multiplier on top of the normal game XP, set by the tier you entered
• Daily login — a small XP bonus for the first sign-in of each day

Which grid gives the most XP?

The 6×6 Expert grid yields the most XP per game because scores are substantially higher than on 4×4. However, Expert games also take longer. If you want the fastest XP gain per minute, strong 4×4 play with daily quests is usually competitive with Expert due to shorter game length.

What XP affects

XP contributes directly to the Total XP trophy category, which is one of the 10 inputs to your military rank. Total XP also determines your visible experience level displayed on your profile.
