2048 Shop
Spend your coins on boosts, cosmetics, and items
Key Points About the 2048 Shop
- Coins are earned by completing ranked games, quests, and daily login streaks — the shop is the main place to spend them.
- The shop has three categories: Undos (take back a move mid-game), Gems (crafting and trading material), and Boosts (double XP for a fixed period).
- Gems here are sold individually at a fixed price — Garnet 200, Topaz 400, Amethyst 750, Emerald 1,200 coins. There is no random draw, so you always get exactly the gem you paid for. The shop stocks no cosmetics itself: gems are the crafting material for board skins, tile styles and avatar frames.
- Undo charges are consumed when used — each one takes back your last move. They are useful for quest objectives where finishing a specific game matters.
- Boosts are time-based, not use-based: an XP Boost doubles XP from every game for 24 hours or 7 days from the moment you buy it, whether you play or not.
How to Spend Your Coins
1
Save for Equipment first. Equipment pieces are permanent and show on your profile, while undos and boosts are consumed. Common and Rare skins are cheap — buy them before spending on consumables.
2
Buy a Boost only when you can play through it. An XP Boost runs on a wall clock, not on games played. The 1-day boost costs 300 coins and the 7-day boost 1,800 — start one at the beginning of a stretch where you will actually be playing.
3
Buy Undo Packs only when you need them for a quest. Undos are situational. The 10-pack at 150 coins is half the per-charge price of the 3-pack at 50, so if you do buy, buy the larger pack.
4
Compare the Marketplace before buying gems here. Shop gem prices are fixed, but Marketplace prices are set by players and often undercut them. Check the Marketplace for the gem you need before paying the shop price.
Pro Tips
- Daily quests are your steadiest coin income. Higher quest levels unlock as your rank climbs and pay out more coins, so clearing your dailies every day funds shop purchases without grinding ranked games.
- Boost time runs down whether you play or not. The clock starts the moment you buy, so activate a Boost only when you have a session ahead of you — buying one and logging off wastes most of the duration.
- Premium doubles your coin income. Premium members earn 2× coins from every ranked game, quest, and daily reward, and get equipment boosts at half price — which shortens the save-up time for everything on this page.
