2048 Rules & Controls: Gameplay Guide

Controles

Each grid is ranked on its own ladder, with separate leaderboards and separate personal bests, so a Classic result is never measured against a 5×5 or 6×6 one. Reglas básicas
Aparece una nueva ficha después de cada movimiento. Cada movimiento genera un 2 (90% de probabilidad) o un 4 (10%) en una celda vacía aleatoria.
Each tile can only merge once per move. A 4 created by merging two 2s cannot merge again with another 4 in the same swipe.

2048 Strategy Basics
- Mantén tu ficha más alta en una esquina. Ancla tu ficha más grande en una esquina y construye un patrón de serpiente hacia afuera — esta es la estrategia más efectiva.
- Evita llenar el tablero. Una vez que la cuadrícula está llena, fusionar se vuelve muy difícil. Siempre intenta mantener varias celdas vacías disponibles.
- Prefiere dos direcciones. Concentrarse en izquierda y abajo (o dos direcciones adyacentes) te permite construir una cadena de fichas consistente sin dispersar valores.
- Planifica las fusiones con antelación. Mira dos o tres movimientos adelante para que las fichas se alineen naturalmente en lugar de atascarse.
- In ranked mode, your score and move count are recorded - improvement is continuous even when you don't reach 2048.
Cómo mejorar
- Board structure has a name. Corner anchoring, the snake chain, and monotonic rows are the three patterns that turn these rules into scores — all three are worked through with board diagrams in the 2048 tile strategy guide.
- The 4-tile is nearly free. Don't waste moves trying to avoid 4-tiles - they appear far less often than 2s and are easy to incorporate into your chain.
