Does 2048 Have a Dark Mode?

Yes - 2048.now has a full dark theme that applies to the entire interface: the game board, navigation menus, leaderboard, profile, shop, and all UI elements.

How to switch

Toggle between light and dark mode in Account Settings. The change applies immediately without a page reload. Your preference is saved to your account and persists across devices and sessions when you're logged in.

Cosmetics in dark mode

All board skins and tile styles in the Shop are designed to look good in both light and dark mode. Epic and Legendary tier cosmetics with glow effects are particularly striking in dark mode - The contrast makes animated effects more visible.

Guest dark mode

Guest players can also toggle dark mode, but the preference is stored only in the browser's local storage and may not persist after clearing cache or switching devices.
