2048 Tools That Show Their Work

These calculators use the same merge and performance formulas documented on 2048.now. Enter a finished game's real numbers, see each calculation, and understand what the result means. Nothing is uploaded or saved.

Why there are only two tools here

A useful calculator should complete a real job. We do not publish dozens of near-identical pages with a new noun in the heading. Score reconstruction and performance analysis are separate player needs, so each has its own inputs, result model, interface, and explanation.

Choose the tool by the question you have

“What score did these merges earn?”

Use the score ledger. It adds each created tile and shows the subtotal behind the final number. Read the 2048 scoring rule first if you are unsure what to count.

“How clean and fast was my game?”

Use the efficiency console with the score, move count, and time from one result screen. The performance metrics guide explains how those numbers appear on your profile.

“How do I improve the next result?”

A calculator can identify wasted moves, but it cannot choose a swipe for you. Take the weak metric into the 2048 tips and drills, then test it in a new game.
