When Do 2048 Seasons Reset?
Each 2048 season runs for roughly one calendar month. When a season ends, the season leaderboards freeze, the final standings are archived for viewing, and a brand-new board resets to zero for the next season. Your single fastest ranked time on each grid carries you on the board until someone beats it or the reset arrives, so an early strong time can hold a top placement all month. You can review the exact dates on the Season Leaders board.
2048 Season Rewards Explained
Season rewards are paid out on a fixed end-of-season schedule based on your final placement on each grid. The faster your best ranked time, the higher your rank and the larger your reward. Strong season finishes also feed directly into the monthly Championship score, and Premium members earn double season points plus exclusive seasonal badge frames. - Large 5×5 leaderboards are often less competitive. Fewer players specifically play Large 5×5 ranked — a strong time early in the season can hold a top-10 position all month with little competition.
