Keep your highest tile in a corner. Pick one corner — bottom-left is most common — and never let your highest tile leave it. Every swipe should either build toward that corner or maintain the sequence next to it.

Avoid swiping up unless forced. Upward swipes scatter tiles and break sequences. Treat up as a last resort when the board is nearly full and no other move avoids game over.

Prioritize merges over positioning. A move that creates a merge is almost always better than a move that only shifts tiles. Empty cells are your most valuable resource — protect them.

Speed comes from consistency, not rushing. The fastest daily times come from players who make confident, deliberate moves without hesitation — not from fast clicking. Learning a reliable sequence is faster than guessing quickly.
