Who runs 2048.now
2048.now is built and operated by Unitygame, which also runs a number of other browser puzzle and word games. The 2048 game itself was created by Gabriele Cirulli in March 2014 and released as open source; this site is an independent competitive platform built on that idea, not the original release.
